🇬🇧 What I Learned About Myself When I Traveled Alone

🇬🇧 What I Learned About Myself When I Traveled Alone
When I traveled alone for the first time, I met parts of myself I'd never seen before.
I used to think safety came from others, from parents, friends, or partners.
But on the road, I learned that true safety can also come from within.
I learned to trust myself, to navigate, to make choices, to solve problems, but most of all, to simply be with myself.
To sit in silence without rushing to fill it.
To enjoy peace instead of running from it.
Personal growth often happens quietly. When you're sitting on a train watching a new landscape roll by, you realize how capable you really are.
You stop seeing yourself as someone who needs protecting, and start seeing yourself as someone who belongs in the world.
"I traveled alone to see the world, but it was myself I found."
