Why I Want to Build the Travel Agency Inkluderende Reiser

Everyone deserves to travel. Everyone deserves to experience the world, create memories, and share special moments. But the truth is, many face barriers that leave their travel dreams behind at home.

Over the years, I've seen how many people are excluded from the world of travel. Some struggle with anxiety, and even the thought of boarding a plane or visiting a new place feels overwhelming. Others feel lonely and find it hard to travel on their own. Some have physical challenges or use a wheelchair and discover that the world isn't always built for everyone. Many older adults have told me they no longer feel safe traveling, even though the desire is still there.

This is exactly what inspired me to start Inkluderende Reiser (Inclusive Travel). I want to create a travel agency that puts safety, community, and accessibility at the center, and shows that travel can truly be for everyone.

My background as a healthcare worker has taught me how important care and practical support can be. Through my studies in mental health work, I've gained a deeper understanding of how anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges affect daily life, and how safety, empowerment, and small steps can make a huge difference. Combining this knowledge with my tourism studies, I see a unique opportunity to build bridges between health and experiences.

My goal is that no one should feel alone or "left out" when it comes to exploring the world. At Inkluderende Reiser, you'll be able to travel at your own pace, with support when you need it, and a sense of community around you.

I know it will take time to build this, maybe two or three years, maybe more, but I'm starting now, with this blog, to share the vision and invite you to join the journey. Because this isn't just my dream, it's a project I hope will bring joy, empowerment, and memories to many others.
